Woman- a Warrior.

A girl, A daughter, A woman, these words contain quite of a weightage, isn't it? Now, when a girl child is born, she comes with sheer responsibility on her back. Typically, a female i.e. woman can produce a child but, the sense of responsibility, dedication a woman portrays all her life is bound one's imagination.

Anganwadi, one of the development sectors of healthcare, the government has enrolled in the country today. This place is not just any regular one but a child care center in the rural lands. India, being one of the prime most victims of malnutrition have inaugurated this integrated child development service in the year 1975 to combat both child hunger, malnutrition.




For any child, the very first person to gaze at is his or her mother, right? And for such practices Anganwadi, the foundation upholds numerous women workers on all rural lands they function. Talking of rural livelihood, India being a developing nation, still includes acute livelihoods on a few of its mapping areas. The sections consist of lack of basic knowledge, necessities, etc. Almost every year, 25 million or more children are born and these rural sectors are one of the biggest contributors to the following and therefore the women of the lands lack nutrition, proper healthcare, and education which is very much essential to raise her child. Here come the women workers of Anganwadi as saviors in this process of motherhood.

These women of Anganwadi, not just any finite women but treats every woman and the child of the areas they've been assigned as a guide, a mother, a sister, or any you name. The female members educate, assist, food to both the mother and the child. Giving birth is no easy job and nurturing both the mother and the child during the period is a prime most task, you know. These workers stay during the entire process showing fragility, affection, etc.



Kumadini Samad, an Anganwadi is a warrior worker of Brajrajnagar who looks after the woman during pregnancy and post-pregnancy. She is been working for 15 years now. She is not just treating them but also preparing those pregnant women to care for themselves and the little one they are giving birth to. The intake of nutrition, balanced diet, how to raise a child as a whole, how to prepare him for the social world we all live in, etc, she teaches. Herself being a wife, a mother, how she manages her duty and personal statuses

In this period of Covid, with the change in livelihood, there is end number of births that are taking place, these Anganwadi workers, as warriors are up on their feet and working astoundingly, along with treatment they provide timely vaccines to the mother and also aware the land about the safety measures one needs to inhabit in this crucial situation of life.
